Public Restroom...Maybe They Should Be Illegal!

By far the most disgusting thing is when you have to use a public restroom. It still terrifies me today! So here are some tips for when you have are Christmas shopping and have to do the unthinkable:

First thing...carry doTERRA On Guard Essential Oil in your purse (or make your own disinfecting hand spray, recipe HERE.  Use one of these on your hands before you even enter the bathroom!

*Squat over the toilet rather than sitting on it! (Sounds weird, terrible visual!!!)

OR

Carry purse size disinfecting wipes in my purse...Did I mention how I HATE public restrooms!!!

*Keep a small thing of tissues in your purse and use those. For some reason that paper thin, scratchy toilet paper that are in public restrooms freak me out.

*DON'T PUT YOUR PURSE ON THE FLOOR! I don't even put mine on the hook, I just hold it even though it makes things even more difficult.

*Use your foot to flush. My young grandchildren already knows that rule!!! 

*Have the paper towel ready for you to use BEFORE you wash your hands. This way you don't have to touch the handle with your clean hands.

*Dry your hands, then use the paper towel to open the door with. I'm sure that door knob isn't clean!!!
